I love books. I don't just love to read them, I love to buy them. That can get to be a pretty expensive habit, so I was super happy when my friend Jodi introduced me to half.comIt's part of Ebay and it's a place for people to sell their used textbooks, books, music, movies, etc. at a way cheap price. For example, I bought 6 books last week and my total came out to $26.93. Depending on the type of book you are looking for and the condition, you can buy book for less than a dollar! The more expensive part is shipping, which is usually around $2.50-$3 per book, and again it depends on the book. You can also buy several books from the same seller and save on shipping. All my books were around a $1 or $1.50 but I had to pay for shipping. But with 6 books that still comes out to around $4.49 a book!
I just started selling some of my books as well on there, and have had really pleasant experiences with the site. I will never pay full price at a bookstore again!

Great! Thanks! I had not heard of this before.
Come see my blog. ;) We have the same header, lol. We match!
I just checked this website out yesterday because of you and THANK YOU. You are so right. I always used Amazon but Half.com is way cheaper. Now....I just have to wait until I have some money, lol. I have a huge want list.
I love your little site. And the info. I'm in desperate need of a good book too, so thanks for all the info!
Your daughter is so cute too!
I always get my books used online, too! Usually through Amazon. You can also go to bestbookbuys.com and they will compare the lowest prices from Amazon, Half.com, and a bunch of other places to tell you where to get it the cheapest.
Used? Why pay when you can get it for free ;) check out http://www.paperbackswap.com where you can actually just trade books straight across with folks. They also run CD and DVD swap sites with similar names to swap those. Cuts the cost of used books down to zero ;)
