Works-For-Me-Wednesday: Organizing Books

Maybe I am just too much of a neat freak, but I like being able to find things quickly and easily. I hate it when my bookshelf is so haphazard that I can't even find a book to lend to someone or remember if I had a certain book. So I use my handy dandy excel spreadsheets again and I made a lit of all my books, in alphabetical order by author last name. I use the spreadsheet to get my books in the right order and then to keep track of books I have loaned out to friends and I even keep track of the last date I read certain books.

If I knew how to use spreadsheets, I would be dangerous. :)

Wow, you are very organized. Move over Dewey Decimal system! Here comes Excel :) LOL

You are so good. I should do something like that....if only my Mylie would stop yanking all my lower books off my shelf. I get tired of re-organizing all my books...my movies too for that matter.
