Irresistible! Makes quite a few, so be ready to give them away! I've also made them and dipped them in white chocolate, kind of like a Hershey's Cookies 'n Cream bar.
Easy Oreo Truffles
1 pkg. oreo cookies
1 pkg. (8oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 pkg. semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
Crush 9 cookies to fine crumbs; reserve for later. Crush remaining 36 cookies to fine crumbs; place in medium bowl. Add cream cheese; mix until well blended. Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1-inch in diameter. Dip balls in melted baking chocolate; place on wax paper covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs. Refrigerate until firm about 1 hour.
