My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really like this series. It's a little bit different from all the YA fiction I have been reading lately, and the first book I have read about immortals (ones that aren't vampires or angels, that is). It was hard to read this book because of everyone basically being hypnotized and Ever being so alone all the time. The ending made me want to scream as well! Not in a bad way, just in an OMG-I-can't-believe-that-just-happened kind of way. I am REALLY hoping that this new problem gets resolved in the next book and FAST! Overall, good read. I am excited to see what is next for Ever and Damen!
