For Memorial Day, we didn't have any plans initially, so I made homemade doughnuts in the morning (got the idea here). Then my hubby has the idea to go on a hike before meeting up with his family for some BBQ and visiting. So we did! We packed everything up and went!
Our hike was about 2 miles long and I was so proud of Peyton because she did great and didn't complain. She even carried her own snacks and water. It was funny because she found these sticks she wanted to take home with her. We tried to convince her to leave them until we were on our way back, but she insisted on carrying them the whole time. Silly girl.
Damon did awesome as well. Chris did have to carry him on his shoulders for awhile, but overall he did so good.
And Miss Bridget did fantastic. She slept and was content being carried in the carrier the whole time. 3 weeks old and already an outdoors girl!
